I met patriot in Lynchburg Sat to leave for Chesapeake Bay. A couple of patriots friends have a boat and they followed us down. We arrived to gale winds. Fishing did not take place. Only looking for Intel. Sunday we got up to launch out of Harborton. Before we could catch any fish I had to stick my head near the water and sing heave hoe a few times. Another words I had to chum for them. Patriot and I caught a 30 lber and a 34 lber. What a blast when u get a jolt and pull a couple of pigs on the boat. JR and Jimmy put 3 smaller ones on their boat. I listened to the redskins beat the bills while pulling in pigs. What a great day. Monday the patriot got skunked. Jrs boat put a hog onboard. It was HUGE! 46.9 lbs. We launched out of Harborton. Tues. I did not want to fish because it was raining and I left my rain jacket at home. I did have my bibs but not a coat and was not going out to be miserable. Patriot, Jimmy, and Jr bought me the matching coat for my bibs and said Merry Christmas. Wow! I didn't know anyone else who would have done that for me. I am very very grateful. Unfortunately, both boats did not have fish onboard. We did have 3 pull offs. We did have plenty of fish fillets to come back home with. I also learned from Jr how to better clean fish. Had another great time with patriot. It was great to make friends with Jr and Jimmy! Thanks guys for making it a great trip and having me along with my new Christmas present!

Good stuff - there's something about fishermen (and women)..... we are maybe not always generous with our "spots" but I've found more most are some of the best people you'll ever meet and will generally help out anyone that both shares the passion and respect the fisheries as we do.
