I spoke with the dgif on Friday and was told that the state ramp near hales Ford bridge is open. They said they received the email on Thursday letting them know that work was completed. I rode down there to check it out. Looks pretty good considering how low the water is. The sign was still up saying closed for repairs starting 9-24-12. But dgif assured me it was open. Wish I could try it out this weekend but had other plans. Hope to get back fishing soon. Between truck being down and low water I have not been in awhile. Finally got truck done. Now if we could just get some more water in the lake. Good luck out there.
