The last time we were at the lake penhook boat launch was closed for construction. Does anyone know if its open now?

They told me it would be closed until Jan 31, 2016. Same with Anthony Ford.

The last few times I was a PH ramp it was "closed". Several guys were working and I dumped my boat in and took off. Although, I did not need a ramp for today's fishing.

I think magnum or gills creek marina would be the closest as measure on the water. There's not really any close ones by land though, now that Anthony ford is closed.

It was Thanksgiving weekend that I went down there, and it had the closed signs up until the end of January. Maybe they finished it?

Magnum is called blackwater marina now if you are not already familiar with where it's at.

I went by Magnum a few weeks back and the gate was closed. Went by water and it looks like it's for sale and the ramp is off limits. Granted, that was a few weeks back.

We found the same Blackwater marina was gated and locked, launched from Anthony Ford.
