Water temps: 56-58 Air temp: 38-44 Wind: Steady 10-15 mph all day Not a lot to report. Fishing was tough. Couldn't hold the boat in a spot. Couldn't cast very accurately due to wind. Picked up 3 Largemouth on a worm. And one on a jig. All under or nearby docks. Bright side, all fish were over 2.5 lbs. biggest was 3.5. Saw zero topwater feeding. But was a good day regardless. Fished Blackwater side.

Nice report - seems some big bass are feeding now..... Travis landed that 9 lber last weekend and we had a big one take a 8" shad today that was 5' from the boat when it dropped the bait

Travis is one of the most conservation minded fisherman I know - respects all species - so I be suprised if it wasn't - released - but I'm sure it was a fish of a lifetime for his client - heck any of us.

There was an effort this year in which private funds were raised for a DGIF approved stocking of "F1 Tiger" bass strain - supposed to grow a bit faster and be a bit more aggressive fish. I forget the numbers stocked but it was about 1/acre I believe. There are plans for a second stocking next year.
