Can anyone tell me if it is going to be real hard to navigate from the Hardy ramp under the bridge and by Bay Roc? Would it be better to put in at Bay Roc? I am thinking about fishing SML instead of Claytor Saturday morning, and that is the closest area for me to put in. If it is to hard to navigate that area is there another public ramp near by?

coming out of the public ramp stay a little ways off the right side, low water is towards the bridge, be really carefull once you start down the straight away towards the bridge, stay over to the cliff side (right) and then you have to cut at a 45 degree angle towards the first trussel, if you don't know where the channel is go very slow and watch your depth gauge, till you get to the first trussel and after that you should be OK. Last time I was up there after the trussel it was about 20' or more and along the cliffs coming down about the same, except for the cut from the cliffs towards the trussel, its shallow through there.

Excellent info. Thanks a bunch. I am hoping the stripers have moved up into that part of the lake.
