Well, I have been skunked twice in the last week. Today, I put in at the Hardy area and netted shad 3-4 inches rather easily, but after fishing about 6 hours, I had a broken rod and some snagged break offs to show for it. Maybe next trip will go better. Still it was fun catching the bait. Met Travis from Stripers & Cats at the end of my day. He gave me two large shad to try, before he took off towards Blackwater. Unfortunately, no luck on those either. Next trip will be better!!
