Jason and I met at the boat dock at 6am. I asked how he was, and learned a lot of his fishing equipment had been stolen off of his boat. My heart sank. You just feel violated when people take something that you have worked hard for. Between the two of us we had equipment to continue on with our fishing trip. We left at 6:45am. My trolling motor started acting up. Uh oh! Its not going well at all. Jason and I reconnected the tm batteries and we were back in business. We finally found shad. We probably had close to 20. Then it was time to fish! Jason was bringing one in, he said this one is HUGE, then it stopped fighting as it got closer to the boat. He said, Its a SMALL one!! Due to the fish had stopped fighting the closer it got to the boat. I saw it and said its a cow!! I said sweeter then ur Momas Love!! It was a beast!! It weighed 15lbs!! Here is the SMALL one! We caught a total of 6. Two were 26in and 28inces. Those found the ice bucket. The other four were over 30 inches and were returned to their home with a huge smile. CPR, thanks to the forum for educating me on our fishery. We had several hits all day long. Went back to the dock about 645 pm. Fished almost 12 hours. Loads of FUN! We had to go find more bait due to running out. WT 63-64.5 6 planers with gizzards, Caught a couple of the outside board on the creek side. Fished main channel and points We had a few MONGOS! Mostly money makers. Pulled at 1.0 mph Cloudy I learned a lot of techniques and am very THANKFUL for Jason tutoring me and being patient with me. He told me he couldn't sleep the night before because he was so excited to fish. Well the morning was tough, but we still had a blast! Thanks Jason!

I tell you what...this report reminds me of my first bait fishing experience (2 years ago) with a seasoned vet. AWESOME!
Seeing that BIG BAIT on your boat brought a smile to my face.
Seems the two of you really needed each other this last weekend as well.
GREAT STUFF!
