This is really my first report here so i will do my best! My brother and I came up and hit the launch (hardy) about 6:30 AM ran and hit a couple lights to no avail. After getting some insight from a good friend we went searching for bait. After catching some big boys and some small ones we decided to throw one more time... Which ended in a $200.00 net getting destroyed.. Oh joy.. So by 9am we ran up the lakes and hit a couple spots with 4 downlines and 3 planers out. Pulled over the first point and caught a 18" er on a down line. After turning again middle planer went off and my brother landed his first (landlocked) striper. To me it was a good fish at about 32" long! That was it, boat went back on the trailer about 1:00 and headed home as the wind was picking up. Both fish hit small baits, the big baits were not touched (they got nervous once) water temp was 64.5 or so, air temp made me think I was at the bay first thing!

Congrats on the 1st for your brother. Sorry about the net.... seems like it was a rough weekend on nets out there. Maybe you'll get lucky and win the $100 Tim Wade Custom Cast-Net gift certificate in the upcoming tourney to make up for it
