Started at first light WT 65 rising to 71 by evening depending on where you were. Water is still very stained in the mid roanoke arm. The further you go down the better it gets of course. Pulled medium to large gizzards on 6 boards and a peanut on a float out back. Had several blowups. Two get off on the way to the boat and broke one off right at the boat. All seemed to be smaller fish. We did manage to land a catfish 10 or so pounds. finished up at dark. long day on the water with a fairly small amount of action. Still much better than working.

Nice report beats sitting at home fighting flu like symptoms..... You seem to have more than your unfair share come loose on you lately. What size and type hooks are you using? Of course it may also be that the hook didn't find lip and the fish is just clamped down on the bait and then eventually lets go after you fighting it a moment.

5/0 Gama. octopus. I think I had one foul hooked brought back some scales. But one I fought for a good while I thought it was in good but it was my outside board and sometimes I have a hard time getting the hook set with all that line out.
