Put in at state ramp that comes in behind water wheel water a lot clearer than beaver yesterday just knew they would hammer a crank shallow like yesterday but I got skunked so now back to scratching my head felt like skeet Reese yesterday back to no catch Sam today ..

When you mentioned Beaver in your other thread, is that the Beaverdam Creek area? I'm still not super familiar with the lake. I've only fished it a couple of weeks while on vacation.

I'm coming out this weekend and will be around the state park and have only ever fished around there. But if they're not active maybe I need to venture out farther and go north of the Hales Ford bridge.

Yes sir Big Ben went back there yesterday with same crank bait same spot with a skunk went to moormans today seen lots of action and LOTS of logs and plastic bottles but could not get bit this lake drives me nuts but it do believe that's why I love it so much ,I came home today feeling like I couldn't catch a cold but the next time may be catching em like why am I not on tv and chad Hoover is lol no pun big dawg

I tried cranking below the bridge on Saturday. Nothing! Picked up my spinnerbait and caught 2 in 5 minutes. About 2# each.also caught 1 on a dropshot in 19 ft.

Right on zoom ,I just got in gonna eat and head back out same story again today except for first light caught 2 walking the dog ended up picking up 4 on crankbait in 8 or so ft ,thought I had the one I been looking for but ended up being about a 4 pound cat

The cats must be hungry I also caught 1 about 4 on a dropshot with a gulp minnow.

Put in at Oak Grove this Saturday caught 3 nice bass  one in beckys creek and one in hales creek on spinner bait and one at state park area on a brush hog.... Fishing is still a little tuff out there

I think so to I ran into some guys yesterday in beaver dam said they had caught one as well that morning ,I may need to get my ole Sonnys dip bait and take the kids and catch us some nuggets

Dennis - how deep were you fishing when you caught the fish?  I fished through an area near the state park, looks to be merriman run, and saw a good number of fish on the fish finder in the 8-10ft range, but couldnt get them to hit anything I threw.  

I'm going to try going north a bit tomorrow and see if I have any better luck.
