Wanted to see what you guys that are local think the lake condition will be this weekend? Will most of the trash be gone? Thanks.

Should be okay we are about full pond. There is some debris but not too bad, the further up you go the more there is so keeping a eye out is as always a good idea.

I think we're all curious on the color / trash condition - so those of you on the lake keep the updates coming as we gt closer to end of the week.
I did hear that yesterday there was a lot of color/mud down at the Halesford Bridge on the Roanoke side

I drove over the Lynnville creek bridge yesterday.....if all of the trash that was in that mess made it to the lake it would be down right dangerous. Not sure if that stuff makes it all the way to the lake from there or not.

I did hear that yesterday there was a lot of color/mud down at the Halesford Bridge on the Roanoke side It ( muddy water/turbidity) extends down beyond Becky's. Hopefully a few calm days will help it to settle a bit. Not seeing as much big debris in the main channel but there is plenty of flotsam. Last evening watched a ton of bait moving around in the creek, kept waiting for some fish to break on them but no joy. |

Water is still coffee with a little creamer colored at bridgewater. I am working at a job down in craddock creek, crystal clear down there.

Very cool trip I bet. Went to Alaska back in 89 and the fishing was insane.

 Color of Halesford area yesterday. I'm sure there's plenty of trash above the bridge - wouldn't run at night. |
