Id like some input on trolling motor. I used to have a 70 thurst minn kota powerdrive with copilot on my 19 foot skiff and loved it. I am now fishing with a pontoon that is 20 foot. I do not like the foot control motors(just me please dont take offense) but have looked at the tiller steer bow mount motors for pontoons. They are rather cheaper then the new v2 powerdrive with copilot. Has anyone had one or know more about them then i do? Any input would be greatly appreciated. And also opinions on if that would do me fine or should i save more and get the v2 thanks in advance for any replies.

KB, I have the V2 with co-pilot and love it and I too don't much care for the foot control. I had a tiller steer back in the day and it got the job done....but....I wouldn't go back to a tiller steer. I fish by myself the majority of the time and don't have time to run all over the boat when I am hooked up. It's nice having the controller anywhere I am at. My .02's.

Thanks gator ya i really do like the copilot set up it did me well on the skiff. But everywhere ive looked all i find is i-pilot or you have to buy tm then copilot separate for $149. Ive never had tiller steer but do know that the price is alot better. Thanks for the reply. Its hard to beat the copilot.
