The September Smith Mountain Striper Club meeting will be Friday, September 4th at 7pm. We will be sharing up to date fishing reports and tactics for late Summer / pre-Fall and then discussing sonar - sharing screen shots and helping each other interpret what it is that we are seeing on the sonar screen - which will in turn help make you a better fisherman (or fisher-woman).

Hope to see you there..... Is there enough parking room for a boat and vehicle. I might go fishing after the meeting since I will be near the lake. Thanks. |

There is a lower lot and an upper lot..... usually the lower lot fills up and folks park on the upper side lot next to the fire department.... should be room for you to pull in with the boat - don't let that be a reason not to come......

I've had a few folks ask.... visitors are always welcome to come check out a meeting or two. We don't require a security badge and secret hand shake to get in the door. If you want to join then that's great we'd love to have you and you take care of membership at the meeting, or mail it in later, etc. but don't let not having had a chance to mail in a memberbership form keep you from coming and checking out the Club.
