I fished Mayo lake in Roxboro North Carolina yesterday and had a pretty good day. I caught most of my fish on a morning dawn 6 inch roboworm. The fish were scattered. I caught fish as shallow as 12 ft and as deep as 45 ft. Most of the fish were decent size. Nothing huge but a good average size of around 2 and a half pounds or so. I seen freshwater jellyfish for the first time yesterday. I never knew that freshwater lakes had jellyfish until yesterday. Has anyone else ever seen them? After doing some research I seen on the Web that they have been seen in smith mountain lake before. I learn something new all the time!
