Fished s curves and waltons yesterday and today. Trolled u-rigs green and white and some bucktails thrown in there to see what was working. But they just dident like what i was showing them. No hits and no fish. Just my luck i guess. Lots of boats in waltons yesterday and today. Dident see many caught tho.

How fast, and depth are you trolling? I commend you for staying after them.

I am trolling 2.5 to 3.0 mph. I'm trolling from 15 to 20 ft deep. Depending on how many colors I put out of lead core.

I have been told that if you are facing the sun while trolling a striper will not hit your rig. The sun needs to be behind you. I don't have enough experience to know if this is true but it sounds good.

Yeah? Really? Also, if you throw salt over your left shoulder it will keep nightmares away. Thrown over your right shoulder you will incur the wrath of Bigun! Oh and Hillary does not lie!

HA!!! I didn't even know I had a wrath. trollerdenden, it is so that these fish come up to hit the bait, but the fish are really deep this time of year. In my opinion, you aren't fishing deep enough.... heck, sometimes it's hard enough to get them to come up 4 ft. to hit live bait this time of year.... can't be afraid to lose a few rigs, gotta get down there where they are at..... it's as much about depth right now than it is location..... just my thoughts.....
