Hadn't fished for stripers since the spring and was lucky enough to have fish come up and break close to the boat both days. They didn't stay up for more than maybe 2 min each time but it was fun while it lasted. Ended up catching 4 total - all in the 8-12 lb range.

Breaking stripers will always get your blood going - won't they! Hate it when they pop up over here, then about time you get over there with the trolling motor they go down, then pop up over there..... repeat... those frustrating beasts  |
