First time Pulling U-rigs and one tandem rig.
Fished Friday evening between magnum (now blackwater) and the cliffs. Skunked but it was beautiful weather.
Saturday morning got up a little late and ran way down the lake to the BR area. Started way out and eventually ended up in the back with the rest of the fleet. Counted 9 boats at one point. We did manage one small fish back there. Luckily it hit when we were about to get into a traffic jam with a few other boats. Saw a few board members in there as well so that was kind of neat. I was the one in the 17' sailfish with the black Bimini.
Went back Sunday morning early with high hopes. Skunked. Most of the fish we did mark were out deep and we had a couple bites but no hook ups. I feel like a little cloud cover goes a long way with pulling rigs but I'm a rookie so still not sure.
Pulling artficials was interesting but I'm ready for planer board season. Can't wait to use my new SBT2!
