....Darkside. After the day I had on Thursday I needed a little therapy. My choice for therapy was either striper fishing or Crown Royal. I chose fishing and when I got home from fishing I entertained the Crown . Instead of finding the Mward stringer at BR I decided to head up to a spot where I have been hearing about a few fish hanging out. Put out a urig and trolled for about ten minutes and bam. doubled up with a pair of 25" ers. That was too quick but I was thirsty so I headed to the barn for an adult beverage. Unfortunately, I wasn't done with the crown as quickly as I was the fishing.

wow Gator...a guy gets a bit over served on Crown Royal and everybody worries that he's ok.
Those are two of my favorite therapies....fishing and a good snort ....just promise me you won't start taking selfies the next day on the boat.
I continue to admire your ability to consistently catch fish on artificials.....I know a lot of guys drag them around...and I'm sure many of them catch fish....but they either don't report to the board the way you do...or they're not as good.
I'm also pleased to see you continuing to explore and succeed on the Roanoke side. Considering the barren wasteland on the lower/mid Blackwater I guess it's time to follow your lead. That MWard stringer is flat-out worn down.
Bigun- we've never met but I have the sense that you've retired to the barn for a drink or two in your day.

Lund1 - I can assure you that stringer is not bare - apparently you just need deep water flukes to get them off the stringer. Artificial outfished live bait today near "my stringer" (which is funny that it's my stinger given I only fish near there about 4-5 times a year )

It's all good men. Just one of those crap days at the office. I don't always drink Crown Royal, but when I do......I drink it ALL. Said in my most interesting man in the world accent. Lol

Glad everything is ok...... I know you can catch fish..... but I just have one question.... just exactly where in the barn do you keep your crown stashed? ... when I come visit, I'll sleep in the barn and guard it for ya.

Bigun you might just find a few stashed in the barn.....anywhere you look. But...you can be the keeper of the crown!!

Ha!! No worries Bigun....if you lay there long enough all that grass underneath you will die off. That lawn will look sorta like a cool crime scene.. Your neighbor will be so thankful.
