Sad report 8/4/15

SKUNK ! Had my a$$ handed to me today.    Found Plenty of fish through out the day. I could not connect for the life of me. That's all I got to say about that.

Glad you reported it. Happens to us all most do not report skunks. What did you try on the fish you marked?

Just when you think you have them figured out......That little, stinking rascal shows up. Like ^^John^^ says, at least you reported it. It's called fishing and not catching for a reason.

Found all the fish I marked while trolling small u rigs or lead core with flutter spoons. Tried speeding up, slowing down, turns nothing go me a bite. Most fish were moving

fast. Maybe between the time I marked them and my lines reached the spot they were gone. I don't know. Several spots that had scattered fish I stopped and tried gigging spoon, buck tail and fluke. Like my grandpa use tell me when I was having troubles catching fish (your not holding your mouth right) . Sure do miss him.

Things could be worse - like your dog coming back into the house at 3am sprayed by a skunk - that was my day! Ha

I think Bentrod wins on this one. What he wins is a stinky dog. LOL  I heard tomatoes work on the smell.

Good thing your dog didn't jump in bed with you. Chances are that it won't do it again(at least mine hasn't). That's been my experience. Still sucks!!

Oh man nothing stinks like that. Hey bentrod, I washed my lab in tomatoe juice/paste mixed and got most of the smell out. But not all. Lol
