I ordered a Super Bait Tank from Striperfun today and saw they are selling a dock mounted Hydro Glow Fish Light. I've been looking to get a dock light and this thing looks pretty slick. Anyone have any experience with them. Thanks.

I have an older 4' florescent tube light. Worked well - just don't let it drift behind the boat and have the prop bump it - the casing held but the shock took out the bulb - but they replaced it for 1/2 price or something.
They now have LED versions - though several other options out there with pros/cons.
They do have an above-the-water version of the green LED light - and more recently a square, above the water LED light that is BRIGHT - one of the guys on here has one.... runs like 60W or so but VERY bright.

This is where I bought mine: www.underwaterfishlight.com/ I love it for bait and night fishing. I've used it in ponds and SML as well as Lake Fontana in NC for night wallies and trout.

Is green the best color for attracting bait? All light works. Green travels further in the water, thus it may be slightly more effective. I chose blue because it looks cooler to my kid than green. White light works great as well.

I have the HydroGlow DM260 green light mounted to my dock, its about 5 years old and only 1/2 of it works. It has 2 rows of LED lights. I just called and was told the problem may be the AC power supply. I could either by another power cord for $25 or they would give me $25 off the purchase of a new one. Any body experienced this problem?

Sounds like they feed separate voltages to the LED lights. Each row gets a separate feed. So I would check the output of the plug to the lights and if this is the case, there should be three pins. Maybe there is a break in the wire from the power supply to the lights or a bad pin connection if they suggest to get a new power cable.
These lights operate at 12 volts.
