I have two scotty flush mount rod holders for trolling I just put on my boat. What I like the most of this product is I can take the rod holder of my boat and the base is flush to the boat. The quickdraw from Cabelas looks good, I just really like how I can remove the holder and the base is flush with my boat.

Note that iI would not recommend them for big motor trolling with urigs and such - but for live bait trolling motor work they are great

Those pics are awesome!! Thanks! So, quickdraw can be removed and the base is left flush? How far apart are they on the boat?

Mike. I see you have some mounted into existing flush rod holders. How does that work. Can you adjust the angle the rod holder sits or is the angle dictated by how the base is mounted. Thanks.

I use the Scotty Gimbal Mounts on the fixed rod holders - you can then rotate and pivot the QuickDraw as desired.
