I looked at the smaller models a while back. Even wondered about pulling them behind planer boards. Never pulled the trigger though.

What's the saying - no bait is too big..... Big bait = big fish. I have some pretty big swimbaits that I have used on a downrigger. Friend of mine in FL went to iCast this past week and gave me the 60 minute run down over the phone. I think I will just go next time to avoid a 60 minute telephone call.

Icast is a trade show for dealers like the Shot Show is for gun dealers. It is part of the American Sportfishing Association headquartered here in Alexandria, VA. www.asafishing.org/The closest show for fishing would be the Outdoor Sportshow held in PA each year around February.
