Downtown Moneta, Friday, July 3, 6 PM. Food and other vendors. Great music by the WORX. Weather permitting, Sea Tow will be there with free helium balloons for the kids and designated skipper wristbands for boaters that pledge to appoint a designated skipper each time their boat leaves the dock. $5 admission. Spectacular fireworks at 10 PM.
Parkway Marina, Saturday, July 4, at dark, fireworks over the water. R-6/R-8, 16918 Smith Mountain Lake Parkway, Huddleston. Sea Tow asks all boaters to observe the "no wake" area outlined by marker boats and to appoint a designated skipper to stay sober and be responsible for the passengers on your boat. Weather permitting, Sea Tow will be cruising around before dark handing out the only beer that designated skippers should be drinking, "Root Beer".
Mitchell's Point Marina, C-3, 3553 Trading Post Road, Huddleston, Sunday, July 5. Patriot Pop Festival. Music and games from 1 pm until 9 pm followed by fireworks at dark. Weather permitting, Sea Tow will be there with "Root Beer" and wristbands for designated skippers and with free watermelon. Stop by and enjoy the fun.
