Went out this morning after catching some small alewives 3-4" at the dock. Went over in front of the dam and caught 1 22", fished for hour an half in that area then went over to the mouth of Craddock Creek caught 4 more strippers between 20-26". Used two free lines and two planner boards, all but one were caught on free line. Marked fish hanging around 20-30' in 40-50' water. No big groups from what I could tell using my lowrance elite 7. Water temp was 80 degrees which is down from the 84.7 I was seeing at the dock on Saturday. I guess the rain and cool air last night dropped the surface temp a few degrees. Got to take my Dad and 7 year old daughter with me. We had fun catching 5 strippers, 1 largemouth and papaw and daughter doubled up on catfish for the last catch of the day.
