9/29/12 Blackwater report

Fished the dark side again yesterday morning for about 5 hours.
Water temp was 73. Caught a good mix of alewives on deep water lights. Caught fish on 20 ft down lines , free lined & shot lined planers,weighted & freelined corks. No big fish, all 23"- 28", did lose 3 nice fish to the trees after nice runs. Ended the day with 10 stripers, 4 green fish , 2 channel cats.

Nice report, I have yet to make it to the dark side. When I do get out it seems that I only make it to the Roanoke side.

Nice report. Any size to the green fish?? ;D

I did not weigh any and released all fish caught, but one of the green fish was probably close to 4lbs.
