Filled my tank with a bunch of Big Shad and Ales and set sail early morning. I didn't have my planer connected to my first shad before the pole was about ripped out of my hand. WOW!!!! I had a full smorgasbord of goodies to offer and all they wanted was BIG SHAD! What? Now don't get me wrong....these were not XMAS size fish but they had a XMAS type appetite! There was a lot of this!! Which led to a lot of this! And these guys got in on the action as well! I even spooned up a 4 pound smallie! The evening bite was hard. I only caught one on a dollar bill in between taking shelter on other people's docks from some really scary storms! I was greeted with a gorgeous rainbow that did not come out well on camera! However, I am just glad to be alive and can't wait to pull only BIG SHAD tomorrow! WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Just saw a radar pic of the storm that came through. WDBJ said 54 lightning strikes in 15 min - and looked like some NASTY clouds. Glad you found shelter.
