Put in at the Scruggs ramp around 9pm. Fished Gills creek area targeting riprap and rocky points hoping for a few topwater bites. The ales started popping around 10:30pm but there was little action until around midnight when we started hearing em blow up. The bite was tough even once the fish started cooperating, not sure if the storms earlier in the evening or the lower lake levels were to blame but the action was much slower than the last few weeks. We caught 3 in all with the largest going a little over 20". Not sure the topwater night bite is going to last much longer but it sure was fun while it lasted.
