I have an Elite 5 Chirp. Last weekend I noticed a clicking sound coming from the back of my boat. I tracked it down to the transducer. I could put my hand under the transducer and actually feel the click? The speed of the clicks will change if I change the ping speed on the unit. Does anyone have any idea what would be causing this? Thanks! |

I'm pretty sure that's normal for the chirp ducers. I heard my brothers make a clicking sound when we were offshore and he told me it was normal and he turned the power down and it went away.

Normal. That's your transducer doing it's thing. Sometimes it seems louder than others for some reason.
