Trolled artificial baits from 8:30 until 11:15. My normal partner was down with the pollen curse called allergies. So today it was me myself and I on the boat........ Does that count as three? Air temps in the mid sixties and cloudy until around 10:30. Water temp was 71.5 and clear. Fish were the most active for me the first hour and a half. With scattered pods of fish from 20 to 40 ft. deep. I managed 7 hookups with 5 of those boated. Two fish on at the same time makes it exciting. But one at a time is all you can handle by yourself. Two fish where 28 inches with the other three in 22 inches range. I tell you, I foul hooked one of those 22's and though it was a good one for a minute. Headed toward the dock early to avoid the traffic but the it was already rocking and rolling when I got there. Glad to get the boat out of the water for sure.
