Went down to Southport last Friday and Saturday for a little near shore and inshore fishing. Started out with a peach of sunrise! The wind layed down and we fished some near shore reefs. Caught decent spanish mackeral, blue fish trolling. Caught black sea bass, croaker, and a nice shark bottom fishing. The bait pods were thick on the reef.... The inshore fishing was a little off, but that area is very pretty. Here is behind Bald Head Island.... We caught flounder, trout, and drum inshore. Not big numbers, but fun anyhow. Some of ya'll might remember Tommy. He fished up at SML with me alot.... We fished live bait, cut bait, corks, mirror lures, and jigs of all sizes and colors.... Seems like one day they want this bait then the next, will have nothing to do with it. There are so many places that look fishy down there.... Got to be a fish holding in there! That grass bank is looking good! If I was a redfish, I would be laying up in this grass... Ended up each day eating at the Provision Company. If you have never had the tuna sandwich, trust me-it's good! They built a new place down there recently. Haven't tried it yet.... Maybe I'll hit it in October when we go back down.

Hey Yellowdog - all the pic links are not working...
I've been having a similar issue - I think it is coming from when I upload pics from my phone to Photobucket it creates them with very long filenames..... and I think the link is too long for Proboards to process..... I've had to go in and use the Copy feature in Photobucket to a new file, and give it a shorter filename - then it seems to work. A real PITA.
Just wanted to see if this was perhaps the same thing that you are seeing so we can try and track it down - maybe Proboards needs to allow longer links.....

Just did some digging - seems this is a known "issue" with Proboards..... what happens is that when a string of text exceed 116 or 120 characters or something, they insert a space behind the scenes - this breaks the link for trying to access the image, even with the IMG tags....
Photobucket apparently changed things on their end to use these very long file names - I guess to manage the large # of images they are hosting.....
Proboards claims they have a new version of the board software coming out "within the year" (before end of year) that should fix this...... until then, we may have to rename images and such - a real PITA..... hopefully it won't be long before they resolve it. You can also try shortening (or not using) any folder names as that will cut down on the # of characters in the folder as well...

Yep, all photos from my iphone uploaded to photobucket. Bummer, there were naked women in all the pics. Oh well, back to the jet ski girl!
