WT 75 deg AT mid 60s light fog & cloudy Planers & floats light lines w/ales. Fished S-turns area. Man upstairs didn't want me to striper fish this morning. First fish was a 1.74 lb smallmouth very nice size fish. Then it was all meow from there, boated 5 channel cats and lost what I am sure was another cat or striper when I pulled the hook. Cats are a good fight but sure would like to have one striper. Guess I should have followed the fleet to the dam. Saw several guide boats headed that way, with the water temps rising I think that should have been my plan.

Man - what a difference a week makes. 13 degree jump in surface temps!
Sorry about the stripes but at least you had some action.

Yeah couldn't believe the temps either. I am sure the WT will come up another 3 deg after this weekend too.

Lost count of all if the boats in Craddocks this morning.. Some appeared to be guides. Man these guys were on top of each other...didn't hear much of anything being caught with the fleet moving on midmorning
