Well, I think I can follow a similar comment pattern as Binge.
4/23 Got to the lake around 6pm to attempt to scout and perhaps throw artificial at the points/banks. Well the wind made it impossible in which I decided to retie hooks and watch tv til dark. After dark wind still strong but ales came in good to the light around 9:30-10:00. May haev been there earlier but couldnt see with all the chop. 2 throws and DONE. Water temp was 57-58
4/24 Headed out about 6:30 am to a few "lucky" spots I found the previous few days. NADA. Fish are on the move as stated. Couldnt locate any schools, everything seemed scattered including bait. Pulled this area for about 45 min with 2 quick strikes and no fish. Lucked into a nice female drifting away from this area. Light line planer over the
main channel. Moved to a new area where 40 fish were caught . Boat was still anchored there. I wondered if he ever moved . Pulled the coves and banks of this area and picked up 3 more fish with the biggest about 6 lbs. All fish did look to few female from best I could tell with real fat bellys. Light lines were the ticket. No looks (that I could tell ) on my downlines. Fish seem to be on the points going into main channels. Water temp from 58-61 . Wind still crazy but more manageable this time.
Oh... the sparkly boats can kiss my arse...these guys are beyond nuts screaming by me. One pull in...hit a bank...one right behind him all day . Throw the motor on right on a point im headed to. I know there are some really good ones out there as I encountered them to (ie slowing down or puttering away from the area) but most has no respect.
