Started this morning in Becky's creek throwing flukes and swimbaits. Nothing.. slowed down and fished a shakey head.. nothing. Ran back down around the state park and threw a jerkbait on windy points. Nothing but small stripers.. tried to fish some main lake stuff on down the lake but the wind was just too much. Decided to run up blackwater. Same thing. Nothing.. fished several spawning pockets with flukes, floating worms, jigs and shakey heads.. Nothing I did worked today. Still better than a day at work. There was a major mud line at Standiford creek making its way down the lake. Some days the fish just win. Will be back at it next week. Hopefully will have a report with some catches to report. LOL

Fished a tournament on Saturday, fish are on beds, the people that caught fish had to work them off the beds. I caught zero fishind jigs, spinner baits (large and small), spoons, flukes, shakey heads, lizards, and anything else you can think of.

It is fish on beds but it's fish still prespawn and also some post spawn. I would think several patterns would work right now.. my next trip may be a night trip.
