I will guarantee you the exclusive interview of Bigun if you'll come on as the official camera man for the series. If he interviews me, it will be on land..... with him running into docks, houseboats, pontoons and the bank... and!!!!! I hate to even mention the 15ft high dust to dawn light he brought down with his net. skiff, prolly won't be any bait for anyone. Yam tore up the best light on the lake. lol

Sounds good to me. Meeting/Registration be the morning of the tournament or before? Curious how to accommodate the blackwater fishermen. Or will they all be run out of a roanoke side ramp? Meeting early that AM - don't want to have night-fishing - know that will turn off some folks but too much liability with it these days. Working on location but either a ramp or perhaps some common / public docks. Meeting early enough that you could run over and launch from another ramp if desired. One thing that sucks about our lake is how far apart the two sides are which make logistics like this tough.

Yam tore up the best light on the lake. lol I can pay for the light and offer this payment to the bad Juju Gods that currently have taken my spirit. I can't write a check quick enough! And as I realized my future would be better off if I just quietly ran off and didn't share this mistake, my conscience would have none of that! Skiff... I love the idea of a few volunteers catching bait and filling up a community bait tank. I would gladly be the first to volunteer. Bentrod, my first duty is being Junkee's chauffer. If he decides he wants to go it alone this year, I will gladly provide media coverage which would include before and after interviews and some on-the-water coverage. What a hoot!

great idea on the tournament question tho...for people like me that doesn't live down at the lake and its a hit and miss on bait for people that doesn't live there that's got to haul boat and try to net bait...is there anyway others could catch enough bait for those that doesn't have bait?...I know that catching bait is part of fishing but would hate to spend 50 bucks and then not have bait to fish with..just a thought...im sure a lot others would enter if they knew they had bait to fish with...thanks lee There will NOT be a tournament sponsored bait tank. Whatever you come up with on your own is perfectly fine.

Bigun.. My mom always said, "Yammy, they ain't laughing with you, they are laughing at you!" My 11yo reply to her was... "Well mom at least I made them laugh... And as far as I know, laughing is the best that it gets!" This was obviously before I knew about sex and stripers! In other words, I don't post that real stuff because I'm sensitive and scared of what others think or might say. If it's good for a laugh... I'm posting it! No regrets!

Count me in... Sounds like a good time and would be nice to meet some of the people on this board. How many people per boat will be allowed?

Things are starting to come together for the series. We have several sponsors that have gotten on board - there are opportunities for other sponsorships as well - more info to come. Bases for our tourney measuring boards have arrived - a big thanks to Gator for the assist with these. Kurt is running like a wild-man helping with the other half of this as well - the measuring tape sticker itself - they are going to look sweet! 45" - should accommodate the best you guys can throw at it from SML We've had several queries about various angles for charity as a part of this - it's something Tyler and I would like to do with at least one of these - kicking around some options - the big thing is getting a sponsor on board that would help provide enough prize money that we could use entry fees from that TX for the charity contribution and still have prize money. We've had thoughts along a couple of charitable options - and the events of last week being some others to mind as well. If anyone out there might have a tie with an organization that would be interested in pairing up on a charity event then let's talk. Look for more info on all this to be coming soon.
