Picked up around 10 crappie near lunchtime, 6 keepers over 10". Lost about 10 more coming to the boat. Missed a few too. Used minnows, under a float 4-8 deep near deeper brush. Water depth was around 15'.
Also got an 11" yellow perch and 8" bluegill on minnows in the same area.

Crappie didn't make their way into my cast net today. Last few times out the net slayed them.

Fished there a bunch in Feb and march with ok results. Water Temps been fluctuating too much this spring though. I'm gonna be moving the bulk of my fishing down there within a week or two. Once the night bite gets goin, it'll turn on there.

Prolly on same pattern as sml! Buggz is on fire! If I dont have to go that far would be nice! I enjoy getting them on hand ties! And might come try the philpot one day! Of course throw in a walleye or two!
