Finally got out on the water for the first time in a few months. Mainly just went to relax and get away. I got on the water about 5 this evening and shot up in a creek and pulled the net out and threw on the 1st school of peanuts i saw resulting in about 1500 3-6" gizzards.... Filled the tank with about 40 and the rest went back in the water. Put out 6 downlines and 2 planer boards with light lines and headed back out the creek. Marked lots of scattered fish and small groups of fish. Had several pull downs and no hook ups and one strong hit that took off peeling drag and came unhooked on me... Moved out in the main channel staying close to actual river channel and found a few bigger schools of fish and caught several from then till dark. All fish were small 3-6lbrs but sure was nice to get away for a little while and relax and put some fish in boat. Water temps were 74 degrees Here is one of fish Future State Record Breaker.... Nice way to end the evening
