I was out last night looking for the night bite. Did not find any action. Water temp was 58 F. I know they have been catching stripers in this section of the lake in the daytime for the past few days. Has anybody found any night action yet this month?

I've seen and heard of some evening (before dark) and after dark catching. Seemed to be a number of boats out on the Roanoke side in the night over the weekend - pretty sure the night bite is on..... not tried it yet myself however.

I threw bucktails a few weeks ago after dark (see report 03/27). Caught them right on the bank like Bert said. In fact, hook ups came when the lure was dragged of the rip-rap. I'm using a new flare jig from FL and they are crushing it.
