My mom dug up these pictures of my from about 40 years ago, fishing with my Granddad from a dock on the Perquimans River in NC.... Give me that old cane pole over an Shimano Terramar rod and Tekota reel any day......   Time for a Fish Fry, NC Style!  |

I thought you was a catch & release man !!?? I guess it was a age thing !! Ha Ha !! Ha! Was waitiing for that. That was definately a different time. I helped clean (ok, well scale, but not filet) my fair share of fish on the old cleaning table behind the barn during those Summer trips to my Grandparents, and we enjoyed them with a fish fry. A lot has changed in some 40 years in what we all know about managing fisheries And at the same time - a lot is the same - such as the importance of a kid going fishing with his Granddad. |
