Went out this morning round 6:45 AM with my son. Air temp 45 and water temp 50. Went to the back of a few creeks to see if the bait was there (it was) and notice that the water temp was actually cooler then out in the channel. I showed 48 in the shallow creeks and 50 to 51 out on the bigger channels. Saw a few fish hitting bait in the creeks but nothing spectacular. We were fishing artificials and had some luck with bucktails around points. Fish ranged from a small of 19" to around 25". By around 9:30 AM it seemed to shut down and we didn't get any more takers.
