Not a thing wrong with a skiff - Well, maybe except for choppy days like today, but hey . BentRod'a 21DLV has caught it's share of fish. Nice ride!

No offense Ward, but that is an Elite, not a DLV. I'd say the Elite will handle rough water better than a DLV. Although I haven't had the pleasure of riding in one yet. It is more of a V hull up front than DLV.

The older Elites were the same hull - the newer ones are slightly different but basically the same - still not the best ride, but they fish just the same.

CS has the best fishing platform that I have ever been on. Not the easiest ride out, but perfect once you stop. (rough in saltwater, I mean) Will beat your fillings out, but sure is nice to have a dock to fish off of once there.

My olé 19ft semi-v (before the dlv) handled the rough water well.. rode like a kitchen table, but handled it!
