The public ramp at Scruggs is closed for repairs, does anyone know when it will reopen. The repairs are much needed.

Just saw this posted elsewhere....
The Scruggs public ramp re-opened today after being closed for 2 weeks. It was supposed to get the ramp repaired and extended, a floater added and a toilet. It only got some new gravel and a little more parking. They are supposed to start work on the ramp by wagon wheel on Wed. 9/26.
I'm guessing "Wagon Wheel" is "Water Wheel".....

That's not surprising. Maybe they'll cover the grass at Wagonwheel with gravel. May surprise us and actually do something good there.

I would be happy if they just got rid of the rock that is right behind the ramp. With the water so low it would be easy to bulldoze it away.

I used the Scruggs ramp today. All the repair work was done on the parking lot. The lake is so low that you have to launch off the side of the ramp. It would have been good if the ramp was extended while the man power was available and the area closed.

So the crater at the actual ramp is still there ? I don't understand. Could they really go there with a repair crew and leave a hole the size of a S-10 ?
