How do you guys have your bait tanks wired to the boat? I take my tank in and out since I trailer the boat home and store the tank in the basement. I've been just using battery clips to attach it, but I have to leave the hatch door of the battery compartment open for the wires to run in. Also, I'm constantly knocking a clip off or the wires get hung on something.

Get a "trolling motor" style receptable, for your boat. Mount the receptable and run the wiring to the batteries, and add the plug-in to the wiring of the bait tank. Then just plug the tank into the receptable when needed. You can buy these plugs and receptables just about anywhere that sells marine products, and they are waterproof.
