how do you guys determine wether to fish back of creeks, main points or main channel? a guide told me that in the warmer months the stripers start eating in the back of creeks early morning and work there way out of the cove or creek the higher the sun gets...when I go out I don't know where to start looking at you see people in the mouths of creeks, back of creeks and main channel so I was asking how to you guys determine where to fish at?...thanks lee

When you see this-fish!;D Actually I follow water temps because bait moves warm and fish follow this time of year. Back of coves where sun hits early in am is best. Attachments:

I agree with both above post,if there is not bait/striper in the back of the creek in the morning work your way out looking deeper all the way to the main channel,I have also found if its dingy/muddy, a sunny day and there is a breeze or wind blowing towards the back of the creek that said bait and fish can show up very strong late in the evening as water temps rise. This work the same looking for bait this time of year,if you have enough to start out,go fish! SOMETIMES it can be a lot easier to load up later as water temps rise.just my opinion......Kenny
