Lets just say that Sunday sucked. I went and caught bait Saturday for Sunday's trip and just knew it was going to be a stellar day. Woke up @ 4 a.m. and got a text from my buddy telling me that he had the flu. I was ready to roll at 6 a.m. and went out to get the boat ready and the dang bait tank was not running. I had it on a gfi and apparently it popped over night and left me with DEAD bait. That won't happen again (lesson learned).
Decided to just do the artificial thing. Went on a search for gulls and they were not cooperating too much. Fished BR, Gills and Standiford and notta. Went up to Crazy Horse area and marked a few fish and finally got hooked up and the rascal came off right at the boat. That at least gave me hope and I stayed until I finally put a 26" fish in the boat. I worked my a$$ off for that one fish. But, I did avoid the Skunk.
I saw one boat on Saturday and at least 20 on Sunday. Hope someone else had better luck than I did on Sunday.
