No fish over there,just a waste of taxpayers money. What I heard was based on DGIF's stocking & gill-netting, they have determined that 85% of the lake's stripers, and around 90% of the ones over 20 lbs are all located on the Blackwater side of the lake, so they leaned on AEP to rush forward the improvements to that ramp to allow for an increased # of anglers on that side of the lake. The are also going to be widening the channel around Bernards Landing so that more boats from the Roanoke can more quickly make their way over there as well......  |

Signs are up saying its closed, but we launched there saturday. Nothing has begun yet.
