Depending on the weather, a lot of folks often take advantage of the M&G to get out and do a little fishing before hand....
If you are going to be fishing on that Saturday and have a spare seat, post it up here. Likewise, if you are planning to come up for the M&G and need a seat, post it up and perhaps folks can hook up....

Weather permitting of course, Ross and I plan on launching from moormans around 10. Would really appreciate somebody hoping aboard and critiquing my set up.

My boat issue has intensified dramaticly. What I thought would be a little cable adjustment or even new shifting cable is now a whole new lower unit replacement. I'm totally baffled how this happened but it is quite obvious when the splines on prop shaft resembles a egg mixer. So the boat is out of use for a couple weeks. I'm still attending the M&G but not fishing. It will be a weird trip Saturday driving 3 hours to SML without a boat behind me. I think I'm going to have a panic attack every time I look in the rear view mirror! Thank God for insurance.

Okay looks like it's all coming together. I got in touch with Liz today, Westlake Waterfront Inn will be open. I will be coming down Wednesday 1/14, planning on making bait all afternoon maybe do a little jigging if that goes well. Miss Skeeter will be coming down Friday afternoon as she has Jury duty with the county (three months of it!) YEAH......
I will have two open seats Thursday and Friday. One open seat Sat. & Sun. Everyone is welcome boater or not, let's have a great time!!
Bentrod -- I searched the M&G Pub looks awesome, well done!! Looking forward to meeting everyone and fishing SML for a few days.....

I hope to be at the waterfront inn around noon or one pm on Friday, gives me time to get boat in the water and make sure everything works. then I can sit back and dream about all the big fish I wont catch.

Tyler's still waiting on his trolling motor to get back with a fixed control board, so it looks like the ol' Sea Hunt will be packed with the Band BRB and a couple others..... but we'll be out and about on Saturday morning at least through lunch-time or so.... Hope we see a bunch of y'all out there..... Someone get a light on over at the hotel for me to catch some bait Fri night  |

I wish I could make it but wife and daughter are at a horseshow, which leaves me with barn duties and my boys baseball practice. -- looks like a wonderful weekend to fish with the warmer temps coming and hopefully little wind. Have a great time both on the water and off. Be Safe
