Hey, everyone. Looking to come up Friday morning. Haven't been to the lake in a couple months. I hear the water is low. Does anyone know if the public ramp at the bridge is still accessible? Thanks for youre help.

It is indeed. The "ROCK" behind the ramp looks really big. The water at the ramp is pretty low. So do not let your engine all the way down till you get about twenty feet from the dock. We did the other week and found bottom with the propeller. Fortunately the engine stalled right out before it could do damage to the prop. But at least it should not be crowded this time in September.

on the same note coming down next week and was wondering what the Penhook boat ramp looked like that one is tough when the water is low due to the ramp being so short.

I aint been on the lake in a good while but if the penhook ramp is a challange right now, you could shoot on up 40 to union hall and use blackwater marina's ramp and go down lake from there.

This should help the ramp situation some next week.
