Good a time for a Gift Card

I admire the loyalty that this Board demonstrates to local area businesses. This is not an attempt to take business away from our local vendors just simply an FYI. Recently, when Mward was in the search of some new reels I mentioned Tackle Warehouse and how they randomly run discounts on gift cards. In their "25 days" until Christmas event, they run discounts on certain items. Today, they are running a 10% discount on gift cards. I have seen the discounts as high as 15% but not this time. Their prices to be very competitive to begin with, now throw on another 10% and it becomes an especially good buy, particularly when you are shopping for the more expensive items such as reels. If you use this card, you may want to call to make sure there are no exclusions on a certain brand.

I have checked their prices and found them to be very high on some things like as much as retail.  I have found you will not find the best prices at one place but do a search for the item you are interested in buying.  There are a lot of good bargains on ebay from select sellers.  I even found the best price for an Okuma fly reel at WalMart's website. They ship it for free to your local store.
