Conflict with a work event for me. Both events seem to be on the same Saturday night each year. My regrets, I would love to meet everyone.

Welcome! Ha those darn jet skiers did love Todds old boat - you haven't fished in awhile then! Nothing wrong with Bert either! We're close on what I think should be an awesome meet n greet location for the 17th, so we'll look forward to seeing you all there! YAM - you must come - no excuses - Mward will buy you all the NOS energy drink you can drink - everyone wants to meet the famous YAM! Oh, I am thinking that many won't come if I am there. I know this sounds weird but social events scare me. I'm actually very introverted. My videos and fishing essays are just a way to vent. If Bigun comes, I will come. No.. Forget that.. I like keeping Bigun a mystery. Oh and BTW... I apologize to every boat that has came by to say hi and the only competent words you hear is "Are you Bigun??" My wife is telling me I have to come. Thus, I will break through my anxiety and commit. Count me in! Just me. Your wife puts the sanity in your insanity! It's a pretty cool event - just some good music and fish talk - we can add in some more bait talk this year to make you more comfortable! Big Jon gets out of hand from time to time when he forgets his evening sedative, but a quick glass of water and he's good to go! Also, we have to keep a close watch on Mward throughout the night because of his struggle with alcoholism - if he finishes one beer, cut him off! Other then that, everybody's pretty normal (well as normal as some crazy ass fishaholics can be!)! |

StriperJohn, we're all but 100% sure it will be held at Ole School Pub and Grille from 5-8pm on January 17th. It's located on Burnt Chimney Road in the old Dudley School - hence the name! We'll probably get there around 4pm and I'm sure some will stay later as well. The plan is for BRB to play from 5-8pm and then the bar has another band scheduled at 9pm. I ate there the other night and the food was pretty tasty (wings, burgers, sandwich place) and the beer was cold and plentiful bigjon. Prices are reasonable and they generally have some specials too. It's a pretty cool place I think.

ok you win, I guess I am coming, I got some coolaid to bring as well. hope it aint as cold as last year but I am fishing anyway, hotdog had problems with the cold last year
