I know it's still early, but January will be here before we know it. If you think that you will be joining us at the Meet & Greet on January 17th, drop a post here with the # of folks coming with you - we just want to get a rough # to expect so we can make appropriate arrangements.
Right now we're looking at a couple of options for a location. Last years restaurant moved, so that's not even an option, unless the new restaurant going in that location is open by then. Unfortunately we fight the location battle every year because there's just not many restaurants at the lake and then the weather is so unpredictable that it's challenging to hold outside too, especially for the band.
BRB will be playing for the third year in a row! It's on their calendar! Don't wanna miss them!

If anyone has a suggestion for a location, let us know as well... ideally located on the lake or close to it....

Jakes place, not sure how busy they are this time of the year. I think the Pizza place on 616 has a back room, never ate there have heard it was good.

Think that is the name of it, when we were looking for a place to do our change of watch it was brought up, but since it only pizza and pasta most of our people wanted something a little more fancy, Have heard the pizza and food is good keep planning on trying it out but seems like I never think about it when I am down there and now wife don't eat pizza or pasta I would have to go when she is not down there with me.
Planning on coming may be a little late getting there have class till 6:00 that night.

Okay, after years of lurking a first post. Lisa, aka "Miss Skeeter" and myself are planning on coming out to the lake 1/14 and staying until the 19th. I really want to meet the forum members, fish with my buddy Don, and check out my new boats setup. Looking at staying at Westlake waterfront Inn.
MWard I really want to "pick your brain" on a few of the mods you have discussed. Trolling motor and transducer mounting in particular. Hopefully we can get together aside from the M&G.
REALLY looking forward to the trip.........
A) we haven't been out to sml, or seen Don since 2012, can't believe it's been THAT long.
B) Last time we were out we fished with Bert because Todds boat was too attractive for the jetskiers..... ?LOL???
C) I'm frickin' working xmas day at the powerplant. So this is Me and mommas xmas together.....

I know this sounds weird but social events scare me. I'm actually very introverted. My videos and fishing essays are just a way to vent. If Bigun comes, I will come. No.. Forget that.. I like keeping Bigun a mystery. Oh and BTW... I apologize to every boat that has came by to say hi and the only competent words you hear is "Are you Bigun??" My wife is telling me I have to come. Thus, I will break through my anxiety and commit. Count me in! Just me. |
